Will there be other guests?

No, if you rent our place for the week, it will be exclusively for your group.

 

Check in and check out time.

On arrival we hope you can be flexible about the time the rooms are ready. If a room is not ready yet, they can go to the village or stay at our terrace/swimming pool until the room is ready. 

For people arriving one or a few days earlier or leaving a few days later, you can ask us if we have availability. But most of the time there is another group and we don’t. If we don’t have availability we suggest you try our neighbors; https://www.anixistudios.gr/   

 

Transfer:

If you arrive by boat you can take a bus from Parikia to Aliki, bus nr 3. It starts from the port, literally in front of the boat arrivals. The bus goes not that often….about every 1 - 2 hours. Price is about 2 € one way. Tickets you can buy at the ticket office/bus station. Here you can find the program (changed every Sunday). If you arrive by plane, there are almost no buses from the airport to Aliki.  If you want to have a taxi, you will need to arrange it in advance. Latest 48 hours in advance but preferably earlier if it is for many people. We have worked for many years with Michalis Chaniotis. He speaks good English and has several drivers/cars. You can reserve taxis for max 3 people plus luggage and little vans for max 8 people. Contact us for his phone number.

 

The rooms:

We provide towels (not for the beach), soap, filtered drinking water, Nescafé, tea and sugar.

No safe.

Iron and hair-dryer on request.

 

Breakfast  bufet:

9:00 - 11:00 (at 11 :00 we start to clean up)

 

The bar:

Greeks have their main meal at lunch time. In the village the restaurants serve real meals for lunch, there are not a lot of places to find somoething small or a sandwich. Therefore the bar will be open for lunch until 14:00 to order sandwiches, salads, fresh juices and so on (not on saturday). 

We open the bar in the evening only on request. Not a request of 1 person but of a group. Because when there are afternoon classes as well, and then you all go to eat in the village....we have learned from experience that everybody comes home tired and goes straight to bed, for early classes again next morning. However if you like to have an evening on our terrace with a drink or a dance evening with the group, we will open the bar for you in the evening on request.

 

The swimming pool:

We have a small swimming pool that can be used from 7:00 – 15:00 and 18:00 – 21:00.  Siësta time is protected by law in Greece and we have to respect our neighbors. We provide towels for the swimming pool. Not for the beach.

 

The yoga studio:

Free to use for you, fully equipped for 20 people with mats and props. People don't need to bring their own mat, unless they realy want to. The studio will be cleaned before your week starts. During the week you have to take care of the cleaning of the floor/mats etc.  We kindly ask you not to use the yoga studio on the departure day.

 

On Saturday, the day of your departure, we are very busy because a new group is coming the same day. Therefore we don’t have the bar open for lunch on Saturday. Also we want to ask you please not to teach on the morning of the departure day. It could help us/the cleaning woman a lot, if you could leave your room on Saturday the departure day not too late, latest 11:00. If you/your client have many hours before the departure, they can leave their luggage with us and go to the village or stay at our swimming pool /terrace until it is time to go.

 

Payments:

You can pay everywhere with card. Credit card payments in Greece are only possible on the day itself. If you want to pay something the day after or at the end of the week it has to be cash. It is always useful to have some cash with you. There is an ATM machine in the village.

 

Deposit:

We ask for a non refundable deposit of 1.000 € to reserve all rooms for a week.

The environmental tax (2 € per room per day) is included in the room price. So you don’t need to think about that.

 

Excursions/extra’s:

We are not taking any commission on excursions from third parties, taxi’s and so on. We just try to help you to organize a fantastic week. For some things it’s easier if you contact them directly yourself, but when it is happening in our place we will organize it.
