you can find Aliki Panorama hotel. Re-opened after a big renovation on the 1st of May 2019.
Aliki Panorama Hotel is a small family run hotel, quitely located only 3 minutes walking from the centre of fishing village Aliki at the beautiful south coast of Paros. We have 13 rooms/31 beds. Most rooms have 2 single beds, some have 3 or 4 single beds. The rooms at one side of the hotel have a balcony with fantastic seaview, overlooking the village towards the sea. The rooms at the other side of the hotel have no balcony, but also a nice view to the mountains.
Aliki Panorama hotel is a great place not only for families and couples, but also for solo travellers; here it is easy to make new friends, but also just fine if you prefer to stay alone and read a book in our hammock on the terrace or at the ......
We have a swimmingpool on our premises. Not to big but ideal for if you prefer to stay a day 'at home', just relaxing, doing nothing, read something maybe and being served.... ;-)
Sunbeds with and without shadow.
We offer free large swimmingpool towels, but please do not to take them with you to the beach.
PANORAMA SUNSET BAR
For cocktails and other drinks with sunset, nice music and nice people.
We are open in summer daily 18:00 - 23:00.
All over the hotel and in all the rooms, we have paintings of Hans Giesen, the father of Oona Giesen, one of the two owners of the hotel.
Hans Giesen (1942 - 2020) was an international recognized artist, who exhibited regulary in the Netherlands, Germany, Greece and Portugal. Sadly he left us in 2020. Fortunately he left us a lot of paintings, that we can still enjoy.
Unfortunately we don't have that many walls.... Hans would love it if his paintings will hang on someones wall, instead of being in our private posession. So all paintings in the hotel (almost all) are for sale.
Oona can also bring you to his old studio in the mountains, which is still left as if he is working there now, and show you more of his work.
You can ask at the bar or send us an email for more information.
Here is his site:
For example we don't use plastic bottles, and we don't use plastic straws, but straws from paper and corn. Also we provide a glass bottle in the refrigerator of your room, that you can refill with drinking water in the hallway. So you don't have to use (and carry) plastic bottles of water.
To safe water we don't change the beds and towels every day, but after 3 days, unless you put the towels on the floor or ask for new ones.
SEMINAR CENTRE/YOGA STUDIO
ALSO FOR RENT
We also have a yoga studio/seminar center for about 15 - 20 people max, fully equiped with (Iyengar) yoga props, where you can bring your own (yoga) group.
If you come with a bigger group, and you take all thirteen rooms, then you can also use our big terrace for your activities.
Other groups, for writing, painting, hiking, Tae Kwan Do, Tai Chi or other things,
are also more then welcome.
