After a big renovation, Aliki Panorama Hotel re-opened on 1st of May 2019. A small cosy hotel, with 31 beds spread over 13 rooms (single, double, for 4 persons, and a family apartment). Located at the border of the fishing village Aliki, only 300 meters away from the centre of Aliki and three beautiful beaches within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance. More beaches a bit further. The rooms in the front have a balcony with beautiful view overlooking the village to the sea. But also the view from the rooms at the other side towards the mountains is beautiful. The hotel has a huge terrace with a lounge bar, to enjoy nice fresh juice, or a cocktail, while you enjoy the beautiful sky's, watching the sun going down. The bar will close latest around 23:00 and we will play quiet music.
At the other side of the hotel there is a swimmingpool.
Close by/3 minutes walking distance there is free public car parking, in case you want to rent a car.
The hotel is open for everybody who is looking for a nice holiday in relaxed atmosphere. You can enjoy the friendly atmosphere, beautiful view, the lounge terrace and the swimmingpool. Great place for families, but also for solo travellers; here it is easy to make new friends. But it is also fine if you prefer to stay on your own and read a book on the terrace, at the swimmingpool, on your balcony or in your room.
Aliki Panorama Hotel, located in the authentic small fishing village Aliki on the beautiful Greek island Paros, (re) opened in may 2019
after a BIG renovation.
The Dutch born couple Oona (1965) and Peter (1961) are living for many years on Paros, together with their son Thomas (2006).
Oona started to come to Paros for holidays from 1982, when there was no electricity yet..... She started to organise the first yoga retreats together with her mother Jeanne Buntinx (one of the first Iyengar yoga teachers in Europe) around 1990. Back then it was strange to organise yoga holidays. Nowadays it is very popular to go on a yoga holiday/retreat. And this let to the idea of a hotel, where other (yoga) teachers can also bring groups. But ofcourse 'normal' tourists are also welcome, with or without yoga, it doesn't matter. You are always welcome!
Before they decided to move permanent as a family to Paros, Peter and Oona both had a good working business in the Netherlands. Oona had a good working yoga school in the centre of Amsterdam and Peter had his own business in the Netherlands for decades, being carpenter, plumber and electrician. But they had enough of the rat-race, the city life and wanted to try a new adventure.
In 2008 they moved as a (new) family to Paros, with their one year old son Thomas. Peter has been doing his job for 40 years, and Oona was organising yoga retreats for over 25 years; so it was time for a change ...... time to combine knowledge and experience.....and the contacts we have build up during our years on Paros.......
Time for a new chalenge, we found the opportunity to run this hotel.
To give you also the chance to bring your own group and enjoy this wonderfull island at the fullest ;-)
We welcome everybody who wants to have a good time on this beautiful Greek island!
The hotel has an inside yoga shala for about 15 - 18 persons, fully equiped with (Iyengar) props.
Oona will give several yoga weeks herself, about 1 x a month from april - november. For the full program and more information,
please go to; www.yoga-paros.com
But other (yoga) teachers are more then welcome to bring a group and stay with us. We will do everything we can, to give you and your group a fantastic time.
