You don't have to, you can come to us ofcourse just as a 'normal' tourist,
but if you are interested in yoga, we have a lot of yoga weeks organized in the hotel,
with very good different international recognized teachers.

For the yoga weeks of Oona Giesen you don't need to pay a deposit until 1 month before the yoga week starts.

'Back to basic' Hatha yoga with Oona Giesen. Yoga to relax the mind and boost the immune system.
Basic Hatha Yoga for 'every-body'. Connecting mind, breath and body, the three pillars of yoga. Yoga to relax the mind and to boost the immune system. Basic, no nonsense yoga for all levels, young and old, less or more flexible, man or woman, beginner or long time yogi, this week is benefficial for everybody. No competition, individual help and correction, use of props.
Oona Giesen is organizing this retreats for 30 years, since 1991, and started practicing Iyengar yoga, when she was 7 years old, 50 years ago. International rewarded as best yoga holiday in Europe for 2018.
Daily classes 10:00 12:30. (Don't you worry about the 2,5 hours, time will fly. She will show things, you can ask questions, before you know it the lesson is over .....) Enough time left to enjoy the island, the sea, the sun.

Yoga & Meditation Retreat
Join us for a week of Yoga, Meditation, and Pranayama on the beautiful Greek island of Paros. Each morning we will have a two hour asana class, and in the afternoon sessions we will work with Restorative yoga, Meditation, and Pranayama. There will also be plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful Island and local beaches.Thai Yoga Massage treatments with Sophia and Dezi will be available to book in the early evenings.

Sophia Argyris is an Iyengar Yoga teacher (IJL2) and Thai Yoga Massage therapist. She brings a mixture of depth, understanding and fun to her classes, and creates a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. She also loves Mantra singing and meditation as part of her own practice.Dezi Olle teaches Yoga, Pilates, & Meditation, and is a Thai Yoga Massage therapist. Her aim is to make this world a better place by adding positivity, caring, compassion and enthusiasm towards life.

has been practicing yoga for 23 years and a qualified teacher since 2008. She has had the privilege of attending classes taught by Geeta Iyengar and Abhijita Iyengar and in 2016 became an Intermediate level teacher. She teaches a range of classes and workshops in London and Surrey, UK.
Come and join her for a week of Iyengar Yoga in Paros. This is an open level week suitable for all.
2.5hr class every morning in the yoga shala, breakfast x 7 and welcome and goodbye meals are included.

Is a pilates teacher certified in the "classical pilates method" who has been practicing pilates for nearly two decades by now. Since 2006 she has been living & teaching in NYC where she also started her yoga path & completed the iyengar yoga teacher training program. New York’s upbeat & very hectic energy, introduced her not only to yoga but to the “medication of meditation." For the past 15 years she has traveled very frequently to India, where she spend many months practicing different meditation modalities/ techniques. Her 1 week retreat is open to all levels of practitioners & will offer a harmonious variety of all modalities which shaped her on her path & created balance in her life. A week filled with yoga, meditation/ breath work, dance, pilates.

Yoga retreats create time for us to move deeper into our practice. Being in a beautiful, natural environment absent of our daily responsibilities at home and work can give us a chance to rejuvenate and transform. Especially with daily asana, pranayama, and meditation classes. For those interested, an optional afternoon yoga philosophy discussion group will also be available.
Suzanne Simon is a senior level 3 Iyengar Yoga Teacher from Huntington Beach, California, USA. She is also certified by The International Association Of Yoga Therapists. Suzanne has over 20-years of experience teaching, including over 7-years of Iyengar Yoga therapy training.

After studying Tourism, I started my career in banking. After very busy years I started teaching in 2004.
Inspired by the Eastern styles, I immersed myself in shiatsu, Pilates and Yoga. I discovered that I could make people move, breathe and relax more consciously.
For more development and deepening I studied more than 400 hours at De Nieuwe Yogaschool in Amsterdam.
My desire for adventure and travel – combined with my passion for my work- led me to organize yoga retreats since 2018. I hope to meet you in October, on Paros.
